The Difference Maker

I finished reading The Difference Maker by John C. Maxwell this morning. It was an easy read. I think I have read every book that he has written.

Dr. Maxwell is a very positive person. The main point in this book is that our attitude is the “differnce maker” in our success. He says that it isn’t “the” most important part of our lives but it is the difference maker. He used to believe it was the key to success but you have to have talent.

I enjoyed the book but I guess because I’ve read every book he has written they all start to sound the same. I’m not faulting Dr. Maxwell but some of his chapters start sounding like summaries of his previous books.

For that reason I give The Difference Maker 4 out of 5 hockey sticks.

I wonder at this point how

I wonder at this point how much he actually writes and how much he farms out to his underlings a la Swindoll and other book machines.

I don't know. It was a good read for someone who hasn't read his other books.
